Fiscal Sponsorship is for projects or organizations that want to act like a nonprofit or charitable organization but are not in a position to apply for their own 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.
Sometime projects are just a charitable project and don't need to be their own nonprofit corporation. Other organizations are for profit and need a nonprofit partner for fundraising and management purposes.
This is where a Fiscal Sponsor can step in.

Membership gives you and your organization access to the Start Change conference room and offices, special rates with consultants, bundled membership access, and 2 hours of custom consultation per month.
Members are free to reserve the teleconference office, use the printshop, receive mail service, and access all of the Start Change membership benefits for $75 per month
Professional trade memberships as well as office support and donor management tools are wrapped into Start Change membership.
